Why Stainless steel?
Stainless steel is the most corrosion resistant metal bolts are generally made from. Used primarily in automotive applications, they are also frequently used on construction projects near the beach front or surf as they offer corrosion resistance significantly greater than galvanised or zinc plated. All our bolts we carry are a 304 grade stainless steel, which offers great corrosion resistance but also holds some tensile strength due to the carbon steel elements. 316 grade stainless can be ordered through our sales line as a special order, we do not carry these as standard stock. You'll find full selections of socket cap screws, button socket bolts, machine screws with a Philips head and general bolts in both partial thread and full thread varieties.
