Here's a guide to our freight times and FAQ:
- $15 flat rate for any order under $99
- FREE freight Australia wide on any order $99 or over
We despatch as fast as possible and most orders are packed and shipped same day or generally within 24-48hrs. Please note both Scrooz and our National Carriers operate during the business days Mon-Fri, we don't despatch during weekends or public holidays due to lack of available freight services.
Typical Freight Times Australia Wide:
Orders with a total weight of 5kg or under are shipped via air freight using the premium Express Air Freight Service from StarTrack:
- 1 business day to all metro areas Australia wide
- 1-2 business days to rural areas Australia wide
Orders over 5kg are shipped by StarTrack Express Road Freight service and Australia Post Eparcel, service and typical delivery schedules are :
- QLD/NSW Metro: 1-2 business days
- QLD/NSW Rural: 1-3 business days
- VIC Metro and ACT: 1-3 business days
- VIC Rural: 2-4 business days
- TAS: 3-4 business days
- WA Metro and NT: 4-6 business days
- WA Rural: 4-7 business days
Where do the shipments come from : All orders are despatched from our warehouses in Brisbane QLD.
Will they leave the order if no-one is available to sign : Sure, just add into the comments section where you'd like the goods to be left, we'll add authority to leave and we'll print your instructions on the box for the driver.
What is a metro area : Generally areas of high population in and around City CBD's and Business Park/Trading areas, contact us to clarify if you are unsure.
What is a business day : Monday to Friday
What time do you deliver : Generally in the morning but can be anytime til 5pm in some cases.
Do you deliver to PO Boxes : We are afraid not, PO box deliveries are fraught with problems and are too expensive for us to offer as a free service.
Can you guarantee a specific delivery time/day : Unfortunately no, we use third party shippers and although rare, events beyond our control may slightly delay the occasional shipment.
How reliable is you're shipping : It is excellent, both StarTrack and Australia Post do a great job for us, we are a high volume mover and they mostly exceed our expected delivery schedules
Can I track my order myself : Sure, you will automatically get an electronic invoice and full tracking details emailed to you as soon as the order is despatched from us.
My order is only $20 so why are you charging me $15, it seems very expensive : Everything under 5kg is dispatched in an Airbag via express airfreight, usually for next day delivery, this service is a flat fee Australia wide cost from our shippers.
Why do you use StarTrack and Australia Post : StarTrack Express is our main couriers which we use for 99% of all deliverys, unfortunately they do not deliver to every address in Australia (remotes etc) so we use Eparcel from Australia Post for occasional orders not serviced by Startrack.
I live in a very rural area and we only get deliveries from Auspost here, can you still ship to me : Yes, Startrack Express is owned by Australia post - in areas that Startrack do not have drivers - they will deliver to the closest Australia post main depot, your order will then be forwarded out to you via Australia post drivers. This only applies to very rural areas.
Can you ask the driver to call me before delivery : We have no contact with drivers directly, they're not our guys so unfortunately it's up to the drivers discretion whether they call you - its always worth adding this to order comments though, we just can't guarantee 100% that they will call you. We always reccomend adding other, clearer delivery instructions when possible ( ie 'leave in site office').
What if my order doesn't arrive : Give us a call, we'll chase it up, run a trace on it, call the depots and call you back straight away so you know what's happening.
Can I give you delivery instructions : Sure, no problem, just tell us what you want in the comments section of the cart/checkout. This will be printed in bold on top of the box.
I'm not 100% sure of my delivery address/postcode, the driver probably knows the area so will my order still arrive : No, if you don't put an accurate delivery address in you're order details then it won't be delivered on time or possibly at all.
Can I send the order direct to my customer : You certainly can - if you don't want us to put an invoice in with the order please tick the dropship box when checking out, any 'dropshipped' orders will be supplied with a picking slip without pricing.
Can you send the order direct to site : Yes we can, sites have many issues though, lot numbers, incomplete address, personnel requests, are all potential issues. Without a correct trackable address/contact we can't guarantee timely delivery. We suggest you add as much information as possible into the order comments (which is printed on the box) so that the drivers don't have any issues delivering to the right location if its a big site.
If I order at 5pm for a delivery to Sydney will I get my order in the morning : Unfortunately not, we have tight collection deadlines from our freighters so picking for next day delivery has at 2.30pm cut-off (QLD time), so your order will be despatched the following morning.
I have a big job starting in 2 days can you guarantee that the goods will be delivered before then? : No sorry, we can't 100% guarantee delivery times, but we are here to help so give us a call on 1300 79 44 99 and we'll try our very best where possible to supply as fast as possible by priority picking/dispatch. We can also look at some other express delivery options when required.
Do you ship Internationally : Sure, we often supply major projects internationally and have extensive global freight forwarding contacts so give us a call or send us an email enquiry and we'll be happy to advise.
