Despatch

We despatch as fast as possible with despatch teams operating both day and night shifts running 16 hours a day, most orders are packed and shipped same day or within 1-2 working days.

In busy periods, such as the lead up to Christmas, return from the Christmas break (effecting orders placed from 22nd Dec to 11th Jan) or during extreme sale promotions such as Black Friday promotions, shipping may take an additional 1-4 working days to despatch.

Please note both Scrooz and our National Carriers operate during the business days Mon-Fri, we don't despatch during weekends or public holidays due to lack of available freight services.

 

No Free Freight Postcodes

There are very few suburbs and postcodes we do not freight to free of charge, unfortunately due to excessively high freight costs to these postcodes we can no longer provide freight free of charge. If you would like goods freighted to these postcodes, please contact us on 1300 79 44 99 and we can provide immediate freight costs:

QLD: 4871 / 4875 (islands only everywhere else freight is free)

PO Boxes

Due to changes within Australia Post for construction related items, we can longer ship to PO Boxes, we need a physical address.

 

Delivery

Orders with a total weight of or under 5kg are shipped via air freight using the Premium Express Air Freight Service from StarTrack.

  • 1 business day to all metro areas Australia wide
  • 1-2 business days to rural areas Australia wide

Returns and Refunds

We offer an extremely flexible returns and refund policy with no re-stocking fees and easy freight free exchanges as we understand that online ordering incorrect sizes and finishes does happen and we do genuinely want to offer the best possible easy buying experience to all our customers. Unfortunately with the high number of orders we dispatch daily our flexible service does occasionally get abused by a some customers and therefore we do have some fairly simple conditions that apply as follows: 

 

  • General goods must be returned within 28 days of purchase.
  • Perishable goods such as sealants, adhesives & chemical anchoring products must be returned to us within 7 days.
  • To cancel an order and and get a refund, you must contact us within 24 hours of order placement as after that your order will be in processing and possibly may have been dispatched already making cancellation impossible.
  • All returned goods must be unused, in original packaging and in a clean, saleable condition.
  • The full amount of fasteners/screws originally sold must be returned and they will be check weighed.
  • Returns for orders over $1,000 will not be accepted without a returns RMA issued from us. RMA's are considered on a case by case basis and may be refused or a restocking fee of 25% may be applied.
  • Returns for special order or high volume items outside our normal range will not be accepted for return.
  • Your Tax invoice must be intact, legible and included in your return
  • There will be no credit given on order price differences/changes, due to price drops, promotions, sales or special offers.
  • Any free promotional items included with your order must be also returned with your goods.
  • It is your responsibility to return the goods to us unless a product fault is found, in which case we will reverse colllect the goods at our cost and issue a full refund.
  • Shipping and handling costs will be only be refunded or credited if the error is ours.
  • Any attempt to use an incorrect item will be deemed to be acceptance by the customer of the item(s) as a satisfactory substitute for the one that was ordered and no further claim will be accepted.
  • Threatening and abusive behaviour towards our staff will not be tolerated whatsoever, returns/refunds/orders for customers who can't seem to behave respectfully will be refused, we are not to blame for your error or lack of construction experience, if you are in any doubt about what products you need then please feel free to contact us for advice, we are here to help or contact a professional for advice prior to ordering. If the error is ours then rest assured we will use the fastest solution possible to help rectify the issue at our cost. 
  • Refunds are dealt with as soon as possible however may take up to 28 days to process after receipt of your return and can only be refunded back to your original payment method.
