Raptr socket anchor M10 - 15mm trade box of 25
Screw Armour Ceramic Coated for External Use
What are they?
Just like our Raptr screws these revolutionary internally threaded fixings are designed to fix direct to concrete, brick, block and general masonry using plugless technology, and you can even use them in timber. But the real innovation comes from the internal threading, meaning you can use them with any zinc plated or stainless steel metric bolt, threaded rod, fastener or component. Galvanised bolts and fasteners can also be used depending on coating thickness.
Made from high performance 12.9 grade steel, they are easily and rapidly installed using a hex socket (also available) with an impact driver/wrench or a cordless/power drill, if your feeling strong you can also install them by hand using a standard ratchet spanner.
All Raptr sockets are coated with our high performance Screw Armour ceramic coating (lasts 6 times longer than galv). So you can use them for any corrosion resistant application, inside or out, as well as using them in treated timbers. For more information about Screw Armour and to see our socket load data, download our tech datasheet below.
How do they work?
Raptr sockets are the latest step forward in plugless technology, they are designed and manufactured using our unique self cutting rifled threadform profile which cuts its own thread into the masonry and concrete when you drive them in, removal is no problem either, just unscrew them. Like our screw version, Raptr sockets grip over their full circumference and their full length giving a large contact area in the masonry and providing a simple, high strength fireproof internally threaded fixing, ready to accept any fastener you like. As they're driven in, Raptr's bite firmly into the masonry for a strong solid fix, and best of all, they don't expand so they don't stress the base material, and you can fix them close to edges and corners or in slender materials avoiding cracking and spalling.
Where can I use them?
These self tapping hardened steel anchors can be used in concrete, brick, block, stone, general masonry and even wood. Combine with a small application of our Kemfast epoxy resin for a rock solid fix. Perfect for hollow masonry and rendered walls.
How do I install them?
Raptr sockets are very fast and easy to install, simply drill your hole to the correct diameter and depth and clean out with a suitable blow pump, attach hex socket driver to your Raptr socket and drive in using an impact power driver. You can then instantly attach your fastener.
See the table below for more installation info.
Drill sizes are for concrete and masonry and we recommend reducing these by 1mm for timber, depending on species.
