M3 refers to the 3mm shank diameter with a 0.50mm metric coarse thread, designed to fit standard nuts, washers, and pre-tapped holes for accurate fastening. Although technically a bolt when used with a nut or threaded component, machine screws are generally called screws due to their distinctive screw head.
Available in Countersunk and Pan Head styles, these screws provide secure fixing with a clean finish. Finishes include Bright Zinc Plate for general indoor use, or Stainless Steel 304 and 316 for long-term corrosion resistance in demanding or outdoor environments.

All our M3 screws feature a metric coarse thread at 0.60mm pitch. They fit all our corresponding diameter nuts and washers. M3 is in reference to the diameter of the shank at 3mm.
