Raptr screws are revolutionary fixings designed specifically to fix direct to masonry and concrete without any plugs or sleeves and without expanding. They are rapidly installed by simply drilling a 6mm hole and then driving the anchor in using a power screwdriver fitted with a TX30 driver bit. Sizes range from 50mm to 200mm long and all Raptr's are 7.5mm diameter.

How do they work?
Raptr's are the latest step forward in plugless technology, they are designed and manufactured using our unique self cutting rifled threadform profile which cuts its own thread into the masonry and concrete when you drive them in, removal is no problem either, just unscrew them. There strong too with a working load of 120kg and max load of 360kg, normal expansion plugs grip only at the expanded end but Raptr's grip over their full circumference and their full length giving a large contact area in the masonry and providing a simple high strength fireproof fixing needing just a small drillhole. As they are driven in, Raptr's bite firmly into the masonry for a strong solid fix, and best of all, they don't expand so they don't stress the base material and you can fix them close to edges and corners or in slender materials avoiding cracking and spalling. Made from high strength steel they are bright zinc plated for a corrosion protection finish.
Where can I use them?
These self tapping hardened steel anchors can be used in concrete, masonry, stone and even rock. Raptr's are ideally suited to fixing of structural frames and partitions particularly to concrete slabs where fixing is often at the edge of the slab and stress building expansion fixings are unsuitable. They are a more cost effective and faster replacement for the more traditional expansion type anchors and are also perfect for hollow concrete block and hollow bricks where a traditional fixings won't hold.
main applications include fixing of :
structural partitions and framing - windows and door frames - battens and timber sections - brackets and assemblies - tracks and channels - ducting, electrical and building services - signage
How do I install them?
Raptr's are very fast and simple to install, when installing a Raptr it is cutting a thread as it turns and so as it gets deeper it requires a lot of torque (turning power) to continue cutting and burying itself in the masonry so the following should be borne in mind :
